Wedding Services
On the day of your wedding I will arrive approximately one half hour prior to the scheduled start of your wedding. When I arrive I will set up my music and check in with the officiant for the ceremony. When your guests begin to arrive I will play background music we have selected together until you are ready for the wedding to begin. Generally I average about 30 minutes of music as most weddings start a few minutes after the time they are scheduled to ensure all the guests have arrived. For the actual wedding ceremony I will provide all the service music on either the piano or organ and am more than happy to accompany any additional musicians you may wish to have that day. If you need a recommendation for a singer, trumpet player or something else to add to the music I will be playing - just ask. I know a lot of excellent professional musicians I am happy to refer.
A note on wedding rehearsals: Because almost every wedding follows a standard format I do not attend wedding rehearsals. Most of the time spent at the rehearsal will be organizing the wedding party and practicing vows. The only cues I will need are when to begin the honor seating music and the recessional. Everything else flows. However, some couples prefer to have me at the rehearsal for their comfort. In this case I am happy to attend but require an additional fee for this time.
